HERMES Virtual Training

February saw us complete our first online HERMES training course for Network Rail, in place of our usual face-to-face training.

This course was designed to provide Network Rail attendees with an overview of how to use the HERMES simulator to run and build simulation models. The attendees built scenarios using Hermes with conventional signalling, and then were able to convert this to ETCS signalling. The course demonstrated how a scenario can be created from a RailSys model and provided users the ability to add functionality such as Traffic Management and disruptions functionality to the scenarios.

We look forward to working with NR as they use HERMES on a number of their Target 190plus activities.
