Over the last few years, Graffica has a developed an excellent working relationship with Siemens Mobility, in support of their Control Command and Signalling (CCS) team. We are very proud of the work we have done with them for the benefit of the UK Rail Industry.
Towards the end of 2021, Siemens Mobility contacted Graffica to ask us if we would like to participate in a short video. The purpose of this video was to describe the work Graffica undertakes with Siemens Mobility, how we work collaboratively, and how this has benefited both organisations to meet their goals. The expertise of Siemens Mobility’s signalling engineers supported by Graffica’s simulation skills and software is creating the improvements needed to deliver a better railway. Graffica is supporting the validation of Siemens Mobility’s signalling scheme designs and the traffic management software to be used to regulate the traffic flow through the network – all to keep the trains on schedule. We are proud to be using our simulation capabilities to support the design and validation process, using our inhouse HERMES simulation platform, to help to optimise the solution.
Our ongoing work together requires a close rapport between the teams and an openness and transparency in exchanging data, results, and ideas to achieve the best designs. We are pleased that Siemens Mobility recognises the can-do approach of Graffica staff and the willingness to go the extra mile to deliver a quality solution for the ultimate benefit of railway passengers.
